Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 4 days/3 nights

My personal best in Cusco, together with the Manu Jungle Forest.

Day 1: You will be picked up at the hotel, to be taken by bus to the km 82. From here you will start with a relatively easy 7 hours walk to Huayllabamba.

Day 2: The hard day: 16 km walk, up to 4200 mts above the sea level. Take chocolates, as it will help you for carbs. You will cross the Warmi Wanusca pass, the higher point of the trail and then descend to the camp in Pacaymayu.  You will visit the ruins of Runkurakay and Sayacmarca.

Day 3: Easy 11 km flat walk . Archeological sites of Phuyupatamarca, Intipata and Winaywayna, which will be the last camp.

Day 4: After breakfast you will head towards Inti Puncco, the entry of  Machu Picchu (1 ½ hours walk). Great, unforgettable view from there to the ruins at sun dawn.  Once in Machu Picchu, the guided visit will take about 2 hours and in the afternoon you will return to Cusco by train, arriving around 9 pm, tired but happy.
